As a child I permanently had my nose stuck in a book and dreamt of one day becoming an author. However, the business of everyday life soon got in the way and it wasn't until I was in my first job that I rediscovered the joy of creative writing. For a long time I wrote purely for my own pleasure, but a few years ago my old dream of becoming a published author resurfaced and I started writing novels. History has always fired my imagination, and it seemed natural to set my novels in the medieval castles I used to enjoy exploring on childhood holidays in Wales and the Welsh Marches.
In 2014 I won the Mills and Boon Historical Heroes Competition and in 2015 I was shortlisted for the Love Stories Awards New Talent Award. I'm a member of the Romantic Novelists' Society and the Society of Authors.
